The awaited date is October 20th, 2020, bringing the world together with over 200 international participants and a whopping number of expected visitors, 25 million visitors from all over the world-- all in the spirit of celebration, collaboration, and hope for a better future. The country is going all out to make sure it’s well prepared, building new train lines, hotels, and spectacular plans are being unveiled -- 6 years of preparations and $8 billion of investments are all coming down to this. The general director of Expo 2020, Reem Al Hashimy has said “As we mark one-year-to-go until the UAE welcomes the world to Expo 2020, these spectacular nationwide celebrations will usher in the final leg of a historic journey and a major achievement not only for Dubai, but for the entire UAE.”
